Certificate-Foreign Language Interpreting
- 1. Demonstrate consecutive interpretation skills, including active listening, concentration and retention skills.
- 2. Demonstrate skills in simultaneous interpretation through shadowing, time lagging, and paraphrasing.
- 3. Employ note-taking and note-reading techniques in order to improve subsequent recall in a target language.
- 4. Demonstrate ability to perform sight translations in English and target language.
